Service Description

What Is a Bee Swarm? A bee swarm is a natural and temporary event that happens when a healthy honey bee colony outgrows its space. The queen and a portion of the colony leave the hive together to search for a new home, often resting briefly on a tree, fence, or structure along the way. While a swarm may look alarming, swarming bees are typically calm and non-aggressive. They are focused on protecting their queen and relocating, not defending a hive. Most swarms move on within a short period of time. If you encounter a swarm, it’s best not to disturb it. Professional assessment or removal can often save the bees and keep people safe. Swarms are a sign of strong, productive colonies — and an important part of the honey bee life cycle.
