Group Observation Hive

Service Description

An observation hive is a specially designed, enclosed hive that allows people to safely view live honey bees up close. With clear panels, you can see inside the hive to observe the bees at work — building comb, tending brood, storing honey, and interacting with their queen — all without direct contact. We offer observation hive experiences for daycares, schools, homeschool groups, educational programs, birthday parties, and community events. We bring the bees to you in a safe, controlled setup and guide participants through what they’re seeing, answering questions and sharing age-appropriate education about honey bees and their role in our environment. This hands-on experience provides a unique opportunity to learn about bees in a calm, engaging, and memorable way — turning curiosity into understanding and appreciation.
